Additional Services
Mold Testing
While mold naturally exists both outdoors and indoors, it becomes concerning when indoor concentrations exceed normal levels. Since mold growth isn’t always visible to the naked eye, professional air quality testing can determine if mold types and levels in your home fall within acceptable ranges.
Samples collected during your inspection are sent overnight to our laboratory, with results typically available within 24-48 hours of receipt. You can add professional mold testing services to any comprehensive commercial inspection.
Radon Testing
Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, causing approximately 21,000 lung cancer deaths every year. Testing is often overlooked even though we know how to find, fix and prevent many radon-induced lung cancer deaths.
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that comes from the natural breakdown (radioactive decay) of uranium. You cannot see, smell, or taste radon.
Our radon testing machines must run for 48 hours. After the test is complete, the test results are ready immediately and are emailed to our client.
Thermography
Thermal imaging technology allows inspectors to detect issues like water damage, heat loss, and electrical hotspots throughout a building by measuring temperature variations.
When the camera reveals significant temperature differences in an area, this often signals an underlying problem. A certified thermographer will analyze these thermal patterns and provide detailed recommendations for further investigation in their report. While thermal imaging is excellent at identifying potential issues, any findings should be verified by appropriate specialists like plumbers, electricians, or HVAC technicians before making repairs.
Wood Infestation Reports
Termites and other wood-destroying insects can rapidly cause extensive structural damage. These persistent pests can find their way through seemingly impenetrable barriers, including concrete foundations, construction seams, plumbing entries, and bath traps.
Just as you schedule yearly termite inspections for your current residence, it’s crucial to obtain a wood infestation report when considering a new commercial property purchase. Protect your investment by identifying any existing pest problems before making your decision.
